Advanced Surface Protection & Additive Manufacturing

1. Alloy Powders

Equipped with advanced nitrogen and argon atomization technology, we produce high-quality cobalt, nickel, and iron-based powders tailored for 3D printing and surface engineering.

Our powders are compatible with various processes, including HVOF, plasma surfacing, and laser cladding. They provide superior protection and repair solutions for valves, valve seats, and industrial tooling across the metallurgy, petrochemical, and automotive sectors, ensuring exceptional resistance to wear, heat, and thermal shock.

Powder Metallurgy

Cobalt-chromium-tungsten alloy powder is processed through pressing and vacuum sintering to produce balls, valve seats, copper extrusion die cores, blades, and other components. BZZ special material forging billets are manufactured using advanced melting methods: VIM, VIM+ESR, or VIM+ESR+VAR. Most steel grades utilize the VIM+ESR method, while military and nuclear power grades with stringent requirements adopt the VIM+ESR+VAR process.

3D Printing Powder

Our powders are ideal for 3D printing metal parts, dental/oral components, and artificial joints (implants). They are also widely used in aerospace powder metallurgy, metal injection molding (MIM), and other high-precision fields.

Welding Materials

We offer high-quality welding consumables suitable for surfacing, repair, and protective coating applications across various industries.

2. Welding rods

Shanghai BZZ Automatic Machinery Co., Ltd. utilizes a horizontal continuous casting production line to manufacture cobalt-base, nickel-base, and iron-base bare rods. Available sizes range from 2.40mm to 8.0mm (1/16” to 5/16”).

These rods are compatible with various welding processes, including GTAW (TIG), PAW, and OFW.

Bare Rods

Due to their exceptional hardness and strength under both ambient and high-temperature conditions, they are widely used for the pre-protection, repair, and manufacturing of components in demanding environments. Key industries served include Automotive, Petroleum (drill heads), Petrochemical, Wood processing, Aerospace, and Nuclear power, where superior resistance to heat, wear, oxidation, and thermal shock is essential.

  • Cobalt based bare rods
  • Nickel based bare rods
  • Iron based bare rods

3. Electrodes

We produce cobalt-based, nickel-based, and iron-based electrodes, with available sizes ranging from 2.40mm to 5.6mm (1/16” to 7/32”). The cladding layer exhibits exceptional performance in high-temperature resistance, scratch resistance, thermal shock resistance, and metal-to-metal wear resistance.

These electrodes are primarily used for the pre-protection, repair, and manufacturing of critical components, including high-temperature/high-pressure valves, valve sleeves, and valve sealing surfaces. Other key applications include shearing tools, guide rolls, roller bit bearings, centrifugal pumps in the petroleum industry, and boiler rotating impellers.

  • Cobalt based electrodes
  • Nickel based electrodes
  • Iron based electrodes

4. Alloy Deformed Welding Wires

Nickel alloys offer exceptional high-temperature strength and superior resistance to wear, corrosion, thermal shock, and oxidation. They also demonstrate robust resistance to aggressive media, including strong acids, oxidizing-reducing compounds, halogens, strong reducing agents, hydrofluoric acid, alkaline fluids, and chloride ions.

Nickel -based Alloy Filler Wires-5

The production process involves advanced smelting, slagging, rolling, and drawing/forming. These wires are suitable for a wide range of welding processes, such as GTAW (TIG), GMAW (MIG), SAW (Submerged Arc), and PAW (Plasma Arc). They are widely utilized in the pre-protection, repair, and manufacturing of critical components within the petrochemical, aerospace, and nuclear industries.

  • Cobalt-alloy welding wires
  • Nickel-alloy welding wires
  • Iron-alloy welding wires

5. PTA welding equipments

BZZ WELD PTA equipment is a high-performance surfacing system independently developed by our company, featuring complete independent intellectual property rights.

The system primarily consists of a plasma arc welding torch, a supporting torch assembly, and a precision mechanical device for relative movement against the workpiece. It is integrated with an advanced electrical control system, as well as dedicated water-cooling and gas-circuit systems to stabilize the plasma arc.
